Tyler Cofrancesco
Tyler Cofrancesco (b. Connecticut, 1994) is an American artist whose works survey the human condition through a blurring of reality and dreams, memory and fiction, iconography and personal artifacts.
Recognized for his distinctive visual style, Cofrancesco blends punchy color schemes, rich texture, and complex layering. Frenetic and surreal, his subject matter traverses themes of grief, power, mysticism, and more. Cofrancesco combines intimate recollections with collective histories in an effort to capture the often unresolved mysteries of life.
Born and raised in New Haven, he grew up practicing a wide array of mediums, ultimately honing his skill toward painting, drawing, and collage. He lives and works in Southern California.
